One of the features available for staff is to Grant Guest permissions. This can be done from the event page before the start of your event, or from within Cluster during the event.
Granting Guest Permissions from the Event Page
Open the event page and select “Grant Guest” from the functions for Staff; this opens the settings page.
Enter the user ID of the account you wish to add as a guest in the entry field labeled "User ID" and a list of candidates will be displayed. Click on the account you wish to add as a guest to grant guest privileges.
Please note that all registered Cluster users will appear in the candidate list – so be careful not to mistake the user you want to add.
If you mistakenly add someone as a guest, you can also remove them by clicking on the × button on the right.
Grant Guest Permissions from within Cluster
VR version
Press the A or X button on the Oculus Rift or the Menu button on the HTC Vive to display the menu, and from there press the "User List" button to see all users who have entered the event in question.
Press the "Grant Guest" button to the right of the user for whom you wish to grant guest privileges, and the setting will take effect immediately. To restore the setting, press "Remove Guest".
Desktop version
Click "User List" from the menu at the bottom of the screen to see all users who have entered the event in question.
Click the “Grant Guest” button to the right of the user for whom you wish to grant guest privileges, and the change will take effect immediately. To restore the setting, click "Remove Guest".
