To use Cluster, you will need to create an account.
Accounts can be made from either the webpage or the mobile app, by linking it to an existing social media account - Twitter, Facebook, Google, or Apple.
There is an email login section, but this is currently not supported for new accounts. (See I forgot my password/I can’t log in with an email address)
Detailed instructions for account creation (Web)
1. Click on the “Signup / Login” button at the upper right corner of the Cluster website (https://cluster.mu/en)
2. The “Signup / Login” window will pop up, so choose a social media account to link your new Cluster account with.
2-1. If you have an account with an email address (Note: This is limited to special cases)
Currently, Cluster does not support creating a new account through an email address and password, unless the following is true:
- You have created a Cluster account previously when Cluster supported account creation via email
- If you are a corporate client and you were granted an account by Cluster, Inc. or a partner firm
Only in the above cases will you be able to log in via “Login with Email”.
3. Enter your account details and click “Register”
- User Icon
- An icon will help identify yourself among other users
- Click on the camera icon and choose an image from your folder
- User ID (required)
- This ID is used for event staff/guest registration, and for searching for users
- Display Name (required)
- This is the ID that everyone will see, separate from your user ID
4. If you can see the user icon at the right top corner of the Cluster website, you have successfully created an account and logged in!
Mobile version
With the mobile version, you can more easily enter the world of Cluster as you are not required to link your Cluster account with a social media account. However, to optimize your experience, we recommend linking your social media account.
How to set up an account
If you do not yet have an account, please select “Start”.
If you do have an account, please select “Sign in” via your linked social media account.
- First, set your display name
- Choose your icon

- Your display name and icon will be visible above your avatar. Since this will be an identifier along with your avatar form, feel free to express yourself!
- Note: You can change your display name and icon afterward (Click here for more information)

- Next, choose whether you would like to link your Cluster account to your existing social media account
- You can use Cluster without linking your account, however, certain features may be limited/unavailable. To enjoy the full experience, we recommend that you link your account
- Social media accounts can also be linked at a later time from “Settings and Privacy”

User IDs are randomly set. As user IDs are displayed in the chat box and used to add friends, if you would like to change your user ID, you can go to “Settings and Privacy” and “User ID”. (Refer to this article)
