Testing Space is a feature within the Cluster Creator Kit designed for testing worlds created with the kit.
If a world has already been uploaded from the Cluster Creator Kit for testing, you can start using the testing space.
Testing space can be initiated without making changes to a world that is already published.
How to Use
Preparation for Test Upload
First, you need to upload the world from the Cluster Creator Kit for testing purposes.
The test upload can be performed from the Upload World window.
Select the desired device and execute the test upload to prepare for testing.
Note that the world must have been uploaded at least once before it can be uploaded for testing purposes.
How to Start the testing space
To start the testing space, the Developer Menu must first be enabled.
For more details, please refer to the article on the developer menu.
Pressing the Developer Menu button will display the developer menu on the right.
Click the button that says "Start a new testing space" under the Testing Space section.
Pressing the "Start a new testing space" button will display the testing space settings dialog.
Here, you can choose whether to allow other users joining the space via a portal or URL.
Press the "Start" button to begin the testing space.
Whether you are in a testing space can be verified from the world details screen in the menu.
If it is a testing space, an indication that it is a testing space will be added under the thumbnail of the world.
Restrictions
The following restrictions apply to the testing space:
- You cannot enter the testing space on any platform other than the one used for the test upload.
- If a new world is uploaded while you are already in a testing space, the testing space will reload with the new world.
- If the build for the platform you are entering the new world on is not included, an error will occur, and you will be exited from the space.
- You can invite other users to the testing space, but only if the world is currently published.
- If a new upload is made to the same world, the testing space will always use the latest upload; you cannot save an old testing space.
