In Worlds or Events, you can use Auxiliary Audio, which outputs audio separately from your microphone.
- You only be able to use the Auxiliary Audio in a World where an object with a Speaker component has been placed
- Auxiliary Audio can be used by anyone in a World and by staff and guests in an Event.
Note: For Windows, it is possible to use stereo output- Using Auxiliary Audio
- To use Auxiliary Audio, go to the menu on the top left, choose the folder icon, and select “Output Sub-Audio”
- In the pop-up window, you can select “switch to Sub-Audio”. This will output audio from the Speaker component in the World.
Note: While using Auxiliary Audio, there will be no output from the mic - Vice versa, if you select “switch to Mic,” this will output audio from your avatar.
Note: While using your mic, there will be no output from the Auxiliary Audio - From “Advanced mic settings,” you will be able to adjust settings and devices for the mic and Auxiliary Audio.
